An addition to the Artistry in Wood Show this year was the 2 X 4 contest. The rules were simple: Create a showpiece from a 2 X 4 X 8' Conifer. Imagination and Skills went into high gear as witnessed by the accompanying photos. The judge awarded a cash prize of $50 to each of five winners: Bob Saunders, hat; John Twedt, barn; Rick Hutcheson, clock; Bill Mack, canoe; and Del Kramersmeier, bird house.
